Max Pedró is an e-Commerce and Financial Services entrepreneur and executive, with a strong record of accomplishment of transforming industries, re-imagining retail and delighting customers. Max is the Co-Founder, COO and CFO of TakeOff Technologies Inc. TakeOff (2016), aims at transforming on-line grocery retailing by developing a marketplace of efficient automated micro fulfillment centers, to solve for the cost and immediacy of the last mile.
Max graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (1994). He holds a Master in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, where he graduated with the highest honors (Baker Scholar) in 2002. He also has a Masters degree in Finance from the University of CEMA (1998). In addition to founding TakeOff Technologies, Max was a Vice President of Financial Services for Walmart Stores in Bentonville, Arkansas. He also held several leadership roles with Wells Fargo/Wachovia and Citi, and was a management consultant for McKinsey and Co. in the US and Latin America. He also helped his family startup, and run a healthcare institution in his hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Max is member of YPO (Young president organization) and has a personal passion for fighting the hunger, driving financial inclusion and celebrating diversity. He enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and soul music.
